Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance of the agency’s financial and accounting systems. month-end close process,
- maintaining integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.
- Perform all financial obligations of the managed care entities including claims billing and reconcilement
- Assist in development of Agency budgets and forecasts
- Prepare financial statements and reports as required for use by management, Board of Directors, government
- agencies and outside funding sources.
- Monitor internal and external reports to ensure proper compliance with GAAP and other applicable procedures,
- policies and legal regulations.
- Assist with the financial audits as required by Agency policy, governmental or other applicable regulations.
- Analyze financial data and prepare projections and appropriate recommendations and reports.
- Contact with employees withing the agency and the community.
- Handling money.
- Analyze budgets.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to set priorities and manage work time efficiently.
