Job Summary:
The Night Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Gallery and Fresco on the overnight shift, after the outlet has closed for business.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No supervisory duties are included in this position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Dusting light fixtures, vents, high ledges and shelves.
- Dust all credenzas (above and below).
- Sweep floor bricks under all tables and booths.
- Mop floor using proper procedures and products.
- Use of high-speed buffing machines fir floors.
- Vacuum carpet – move chairs to reach under tables, vacuum under booths.
- Polish all brass doors using proper procedures and products.
- Sweep, vacuum and then mop all floors as required, including behind Tap Bar.
- Vacuum all mats.
- Empty trash and take to basement per proper procedure.
- Reports any damage, burned-out light bulbs, and plumbing problems to Engineering and/or Night Operations Management.
- Attends all departmental staff meetings and safety meetings.
- Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Night Operations Management.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to request assistance when appropriate.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness.
- Follows directions and instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies; use as directed.
- Knowledge of how to maintain, clean and preserve a wide variety of building and furniture, fixtures, and equipment surfaces.
- Ability to understand and communicate written and oral English language.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of custodial service preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing.
- Standing for long periods.
- Ability to work the overnight shift.
- Job duties have the potential to expose the employee to human blood or infectious materials.
