THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Graphic Designer at Detroit City FC, you’ll shape the club's visual identity across digital, print, and experiential platforms. Your work will engage our loyal supporters, attract new fans, and amplify our brand locally and nationally. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to help tell the story of the development, construction, and opening of DCFC’s new stadium in 2027. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Adobe Creative Suite mastery (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign)
- A passion for soccer
- Digital asset management proficiency
Design & Content Creation:
- Develop compelling graphics for social media, websites, email campaigns, merchandise, matchday assets, and other special projects.
- Produce real-time content during matches and events to enhance fan engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, social media, and partnerships teams to align visuals with campaigns and sponsor integrations.
- Work within and evolve Detroit City FC’s brand standards and style.
Media & Asset Management:
- Organize and maintain a centralized digital asset library, ensuring easy access to logos, templates, and brand materials.
- Enforce brand consistency across all platforms, updating guidelines as needed.
- Optimize file formats and resolutions for diverse media outputs (digital, print, video).
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.
- Present design ideas clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage interns and support staff as needed.
Matchday & Event Support
- Create live graphics, in-match visuals, and promotional materials for home matches and community events.
- Travel occasionally for away matches or special events.

Skills & Abilities
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
- Expertise in media asset management and digital organization. Ability to coach up these processes in a group.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and responsive design.
- Ability to translate soccer culture and fan passion into visually impactful storytelling.
- Soccer literacy
Experience & Education
- 4 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or agency settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent work experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility in digital, print, and motion design.
