Job Summary :

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Elementary Teachers to join our dynamic team at DCS. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student progress, and promoting a love of learning in all students.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through formal and informal assessments, and adjust instruction as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Foster a love of learning by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and administration to enhance the educational experience.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
• Uphold the school’s values and policies, and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
