Job description
Detroit Cutlery, Inc. is a knife sharpening & restaurant distribution company serving all kinds of customers within the foodservice industry. We specialize in sharpening knives for the use within commercial kitchens.
We are currently looking for a full-time culinary knife sharpener. Knife grinders are required to sharpen, clean and dry the knives for customer accounts that go out every week, bi-weekly, & monthly. You will be responsible for operating machines that specialize in sharpening kitchen knives. Will be required to help within the warehouse as needed when caught up on sharpening duties.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Being able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
