AI Internship – Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE)

We are looking for a motivated and talented AI Intern to join our Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) group for a Summer 2025 internship. This opportunity is ideal for graduate students passionate about artificial intelligence and its applications in engineering. Exceptional undergraduate students with relevant experience or coursework are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CAE experts to design and develop AI workflows using Python.
- Assist in implementing solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored for CAE applications.
- Support the evaluation of predictive and generative AI tools (e.g., Physics AI, Sim AI) within the CAE domain, and provide detailed performance reports and use case analyses.
- Contribute to the development of agentic AI platforms to improve automation and efficiency in CAE processes.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Outstanding undergraduates with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to or interest in CAE tools and concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings clearly.
- Self-driven, quick to learn, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
