We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient seating of guests based on their preferences and restaurant flow.
- Communicate wait times accurately to guests and provide updates as necessary.
- Assist in managing reservations using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant's services and menu.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining high standards of guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service in a restaurant or hotel setting is essential.
