Job Description:
Detroit IT is looking for Service Desk Assistant/IT Assistant to assist their Service Desk team.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Desk with packaging and shipping of IT equipment to clients.
- Assist the Service Desk team with data entry of client information
- Organize and maintain and up to date inventory of IT equipment.
- Assist team in picking-up and delivering items to clients or for internal use when necessary.
- Report daily work accomplished orally or via email to CTO.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an office assistant, virtual assistant or in another relevant administrative role
- Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
