The Detroit Mechanix, Michigan’s premier professional ultimate frisbee team and proud member of the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA), is seeking a skilled broadcast and streaming partner to bring our games to life on watchufa.tv. With a commitment to delivering high-quality live game coverage, we are looking for an experienced broadcasting company that can capture the intensity, athleticism, and excitement of ultimate frisbee for our fans.
Scope of Work
The selected broadcast partner will be responsible for:
- Full Game-Day Coverage: Capture live video coverage for each Detroit Mechanix home game, with potential for select away games, providing continuous coverage of all game action and crowd energy.
- High-Quality Production: Set up multi-camera angles, professional sound equipment, and effective lighting to ensure a top-tier broadcast on watchufa.tv.
- On-Screen Graphics and Replays: Integrate game statistics, team branding, live scores, and replays to create an engaging and informative viewer experience.
- Commentary Integration: Work with Mechanix commentators or provide in-house commentary to enhance the broadcast and deliver clear, engaging narration.
- Optional Pre- and Post-Game Content: Offer optional pre-game and post-game segments, including interviews with players and coaches, game analysis, and recaps.
Requirements
- Experience in Sports Broadcasting: Demonstrated history of live sports event broadcasting, ideally with experience in sports like ultimate frisbee, soccer, or rugby.
- Reliable Streaming Capabilities: Ability to deliver high-resolution, stable streams on watchufa.tv with minimal interruptions.
- Collaborative Approach: Willingness to work closely with Mechanix staff to meet broadcast standards and integrate team branding.
- Fan Engagement: Knowledge of audience engagement techniques, such as social media integration or interactive fan features, is a plus.
