Responsibilities and Requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop cardiopulmonary care plans
- Instruct employees and students in designated respiratory care procedures/tasks
- Evaluate competence of instructed employees and students
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients with cardiopulmonary system abnormalities
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program
- Registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan
