About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township, Michigan.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography and be able to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammograms on patients using digital imaging equipment
- Position patients correctly for optimal image quality
- Analyze images to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Communicate results to radiologists and patients as needed
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current ARRT registration in mammography
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
