- Perform diagnostic radiological exams using fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, or other modalities.
- Verify patient identity and review medical records to ensure appropriateness of exam or procedure.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Recognize and respond to medical emergencies, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, following HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
- Successful completion of the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS) course.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
