- A strong patient assessment and evaluation skills are required to determine the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and evaluate therapy appropriateness and effectiveness
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop cardiopulmonary care plans
- Instruct employees and students in designated respiratory care procedures/tasks and evaluate competence
Qualifications
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- Graduation from an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program
- Registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan
