Job Summary
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at DMC Harper University Hospital. As a professional member of the health care team, you will provide respiratory therapy services throughout the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with registered respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop optimal cardiopulmonary care plans for patients.
- Perform assessments and evaluations for uncomplicated patients with abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Provide therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures and diagnostic tests as directed by registered respiratory therapists.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program with an Associate's degree in Science, Allied Health or equivalent.
- Must obtain licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan within five months.
