DQS is hiring a forklift operator for a busy e-commerce warehouse in Suffolk, VA. We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to contribute to our warehouse operations.
Key Areas of Responsibility for the Forklift Operator:
- Drive/operate fork truck - sit down (propane)
- Unload/stage/load trailers
- Sorting
- Organize and maintain general storage areas
- Maintain a safe and clear access to all doorways and foot traffic areas
- Adheres to all safety rules and wears required Personal Protection Equipment
Requirements for the Forklift Operator:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator (propane)
- Experience with RF scanners
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- 2 years of experience driving forklift with a current certification
- Microsoft excel knowledge
- WMS knowledge
- Must have a valid forklift certification
