Detroit Recovery Project, Inc. (DRP) is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) that provides outpatient recovery support services for those with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We treat the whole person through our integrated programs of primary medical and behavioral healthcare.
Our program philosophy is rooted in developing a healthy recovery ecosystem for those seeking long-term recovery. Through strong therapeutic relationships with our clients, helping them to understand the underlying social and emotional issues that drive their substance use, the recovery ecosystem focuses on five key areas :

What we're looking for :
DRP is currently seeking full-time Youth Recovery Coaches. The Certified Youth Recovery Coaches will combine their lived experience with professional Best Practices to provide support and establish a rapport and working relationship with external organizations serving youth, as well as to clients in various stages of the Recovery process. Group Facilitation is a plus and familiarity with the 12-Step Model Abuse Provider Network is preferred for this role as the ideal candidate will be responsible for hosting support groups.
Compensation Range : The starting pay range for this position is $38,000-$41,000 per year and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. This is a salaried-exempt role that is ineligible for overtime compensation.
The Ideal candidate will :
- Complete intake screenings and consent to services within the EHR system.
- Have in-depth knowledge of community resources such as housing, medical, and other needed support services specifically related to the population served.
- Provide "hands-on" support to patients suffering from SUD related issues.
- Provide a direct link to services identified by the participant.
- Run groups for participants to develop skills and social support.
- Assist participants in building resumes and job-seeking skills.
- Document all services provided to participants within the EHR system.
