Position Summary: The Beverage Program Manager oversees the DSO bar and beverage services at concerts and events. The role manages inventory, creates beverage specials, and manages onsite staff during concerts.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory and stock management for liquor, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks
- Cocktail development to enhance the patron experience at concerts
- Assign and complete pre-shift daily staff duties board for bartenders and servers
- Create monthly schedule for staff in Paycom HRIS
- Coordinate and place catering orders for internal events and meetings
- Responsible for closing DSO kitchen and related bar areas at the end of shifts
- Facilitate team meetings and train on new drink offerings
- Supports Herman and Sharon Frankel Donor Lounge and Paradise Lounge food and beverage experience
- Serve as a bartender when needed during concerts
Required Qualifications:
- 3-4 years experience as a bartender
- 2 years experience managing bar staff
- TIPS training certification
- Knowledge of current beverage trends
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and 25 pounds of force frequently and constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Ability to act independently, take initiative, and meet changing priorities.
- Successful experience working in, and contributing to, a collaborative, team environment.

Additional Information:
- This is an hourly, non-union position.
- Successful candidates must be available to work a varying schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of the DSO’s performance schedule.
