Job Description:
The Detroit Training Center is looking for someone who can create a great first impression for everyone coming through our door, calling on the phone, or receiving a call back from a registration form they filled out online.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 6:00pm (40 hrs with a 30 min lunch)
- Full-Time (In-person)
- 10 hour shifts
- Day shift
- No Nights
Job Duties:
- Greet everyone coming through the door with the desire to help
- Maintain the front desk area at Detroit Training Center with cleanliness.
- Answer the main telephone line - Answer questions to the best of your ability and transfer the calls to the correct people in the company, when needed. Any messages taken should be emailed to the recipient immediately with “who, what, when, where, how, why” being answered.
- Take payments from students or companies and document it according to policy.
- Enter all contacts into Salesforce, a sales database that will allow us to remind potential students about upcoming classes and let them know about new things we have going on at DTC
- Helping any students that have questions or concerns
- Assist instructors with preparing for class and record attendance
- Send out promotional materials and information requested by everyone who calls, emails, or registers online
Job Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in similar position
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Proficient with computers
- Detail-oriented
- Able to Multitask
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Administrative/Office: 1 year (Required)
- Customer service: 1 year (Required)
