The Resident Engineer at Aptiv represents our project in front of the customer. This position is dedicated to a specific project, addressing cross-functional engineering challenges and acting as the key customer interface for technical and engineering timing-related matters.
Your Tasks:
Carrying out vehicle tests (system checkout)
Maintaining the customer's quality system
Building test vehicles
Analysis of data from test drives and their internal addressing
Regular participation in customer meetings and (sometimes lasting several days)
Test drives
Local support for the construction of prototype vehicles
Software updates, troubleshooting, mechanical inspection
Acceptance drives for test vehicles
Collaboration in requirements analysis and PDP documentation
Carrying out module tests and system tests
Your Background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or qualification as a state-certified technician with professional experience
Proficient at German and English (spoken and written)
Experience in using standard diagnostic tools (e.g. CANOE, CAnape)
Basic knowledge of DOORS / Polarion
Several years of experience in the field of infotainment system
Practical experience in working with test systems
Teamwork
