Become a part of our international Operations team at one of our locations in The Woodlands (Houston), USA. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime as Senior Project Coordinator
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful, proactive daily operation of export and import, sea/air and heavy haul freight forwarding activities
- Supervise the loading and discharging cargo operation at port of loading or/and port of discharging as well as at jobsite/factories/workshops, etc.
- Receive booking from agents or clients, prepare quotation for clients and follow up with them
- Conduct freight negotiations with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, deugro overseas offices and agents for all modes of transportation, to ensure price competitiveness and profitability
- Follow up with operation & subcontractors until the shipment delivered to customers
- Assist with preparation of RFQ and Bid Tender Responses
- Must possess a strong knowledge of Ocean Freight
- Together with Managing Director and Regional QHSES, to take good care all local QHSES issues of the office
What you can contribute:
- Successfully completed university degree in a related field
- Some years of Freight Forwarding experience preferred
- Multitasking Skills – Able to handle various assignments
- Focus – Pay attention to the customer’s needs and commit to exceeding them
- These qualities characterize you: organized, results-driven, assertiveness, the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communications skills in English and Vietnamese (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
