Overview
Coverage teams provide clients with full access to the expertise of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank. Our Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI) Coverage group focuses on offering corporate banking solutions to large international Alternative Asset Managers, Insurance, Traditional Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and Specialty Finance companies.
As a Global Coverage Banker, you will be responsible for covering a portfolio of NBFI's. You will be first point of contact for the Treasury, Finance, and Operations teams of your clients and become their trusted relationship manager, positioning Deutsche Bank as their preferred banking partner for the full suite of products offered by the Deutsche Bank Corporate Bank. You are also not only expected to maintain your client portfolio but to identify opportunities (active hunting), structure complex solutions, and above all, adhere to and comply with the Bank's KYC, AFC and AML policies.

What You'll Do
- Support the execution of the NBFI coverage strategy; drive results against client plans for revenue generation, franchise transactions, alignment with product partners and customer satisfaction; ensure close cooperation with other NBFI Regional Relationship Management and product teams that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with our global client base are actively coordinated in a logical manner
- Involve senior management in key client presentations to emphasize alignment with Deutsche Bank's commitment to build the business
- Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers
- Conduct periodic and proactive business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services
- Assist NBFI Regional Heads to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as identifying issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication
- Provide market expertise to the global NBFI coverage team to maximize sector penetration and ensure opportunities are undertaken in an efficient manner; guide and develop junior members of the team to accelerate their careers within coverage
How You'll Lead
- Cover and advise NBFI Clients across the Corporate Bank product suite with a particular focus on Strategic Corporate Lending, Cash Management, Trust & Agency Services, Trade Finance & Lending, Securities Services and FX & Rates Hedging
- Develop "Trusted Advisor" status with clients and contribute to building Deutsche Bank's NBFI Coverage franchise and reputation in the market
- Responsible for growing wallet share and generating significant, sustainable revenue, recognizing revenue opportunities to cross-sell products for all areas of the Bank
Skills You'll Need
- Academic degree with strong credentials, preferably within Finance or Economics; experience within the financial sector, with relevant coverage experience
- Knowledge of the NBFI sector and client base
- Proficient financial and credit fundamentals with formal credit training preferred; strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills with Excel-based modeling experience; creative problem-solving abilities, anticipates on internal and/or external business challenges
- Understanding of KYC, AML, risk management and risk mitigation
- FINRA Series 63 and 79 license holders preferred (will be required)

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $80K to $215K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
