Overview
Our Group Strategic Analytics - Risk Methodology group is responsible for cutting-edge modeling methods and technology that transforms the way that we work. We are seeking a Risk Methodology Lead, based in New York, to support state-of-the-art model development practices. You will lead the development and execution of Corporate Bank and Treasury IR Swap B/PPNR models (balance sheet and revenue models); ensure accurate and timely forecasts for CCAR; lead junior members of the team; serve as the deputy lead for Banking Book modeling team as necessary.

What You'll Do
- Lead Corporate Bank and Treasury IR Swap B/PPNR modeling efforts
- Develop and enhance models as per business requirements (Knowledge of statistics and time-series models is required)
- Perform ongoing model monitoring of the PPNR models; execute the models in a timely manner to support CCAR production cycles
- Develop and enhance B/PPNR models for interest rate hedging derivatives (Derivative analytics and Interest Rate Risk Banking Book analytics knowledge preferred)
- Be able to leverage derivative pricing engines for model development efforts
- Work with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense teams to address findings
- Work with the Technology team to implement new models and perform changes to existing models (familiarity with Python or R is required)
- Guide the day-to-day activities of the Corporate Bank PPNR modeling team
- Support CCAR and other risk methodology efforts
How You'll Lead
- Provide day to day guidance for the Corporate Bank PPNR modeling team and help coordinate and resolve issues within your team
- Work and coordinate with:
- Business lines on model development,
- 2nd and 3rd lines of defense on resolving findings,
- the Technology team on model implementation efforts
- Candidate will work and coordinate with Finance, Business lines and other key stakeholders on addressing business and management feedback
Skills You'll Need
- In-depth knowledge of financial and risk modeling
- Familiarity with Time-Series and statistical modelling techniques
- Programming language knowledge and experience (e.g., Python / R)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or quantitative fields required; Advanced degree preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Experience with B/PPNR modelling or stress testing models
- Strong understanding of regulatory modeling governance processes
- Derivative analytics and Interest Rate Risk Banking Book analytics knowledge
- Prior management experience (2 years)
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
