Are You Looking To
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
- Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefit plans.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and assist in resolving issues with providers.
- Be part of a diverse and international team that values positivity, accountability and continuous improvement?
- Stay current on trends in total compensation, as well as benefit preferences, enrollment numbers, usage, and any plan-related concerns within our workforce. Use these insights to serve as an advisor to the business during annual renewal, helping us design benefits that best meet our team’s and the business’ needs?
- Work closely with colleagues in HR and Finance to deliver payroll reports and benefit invoices for accurate and timely processing?
- Coordinate annual open enrollment, including communication and system updates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations (COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Maintain accurate benefits records and assist with audits as needed.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and validate timekeeping records, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Reconcile payroll reports and assist with audits as necessary.
- Experience with benefits administration systems and enrollment tools.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as the payroll responsible person for an organization
- High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s Degree is a bonus, but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and follow instructions, such as federal and state tax communications, income withholding orders, and benefit plan descriptions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening.
- The employee must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus because of frequent computer-based work.
