High-Level Project Summary / Intro :
Support TSA's IT systems and mission-critical systems through operations support, technology innovation, management services, system maintenance, and the development and implementation of new software solutions
What You'll Be Doing :
Specific Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Unix / Linux servers and related software using management systems such as APT and RPM.
- Monitor and document system performance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, support the uptime of the system.
- Implement, manage, and coordinate backup, recovery, and failover processes.
- Apply security patches and implement measures such as firewalls (iptables, firewalld, etc.) Work directly with the security team on vulnerability mitigation.
- Manage user accounts and group policies.
- Configure network interfaces, routings, and VLANs.
- Develop and maintain manual and automated scripts for system monitoring, procedures, and changes.
- Provide technical support for our users. Support the helpdesk in resolving inquiries and incidents.
- Work collaboratively with other cross-functional team to support the system.
