JOB SCOPE:
The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial properties.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each major duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. PLUMBING: Replace/repair garbage disposers, plumbing fixtures, toilets, and shut-off valves/hoses.
ELECTRICAL: Light electrical repairs; install/replace/repair light fixtures, outlets, GFCI, fans, electric heaters, smoke/CO detectors, fuses, breakers, troubleshoot issues.
GENERAL: Drywall repair/patch/paint, woodwork/doors, locksets, thresholds, windows, and window treatments/blinds, appliances. New drywall installation skills are a plus. Vinyl/tile flooring repair/installation preferred.
OTHER: Remove graffiti, haul/remove unwanted items, attend inspections, janitorial work as needed.
Respond to emergency calls, after-hours and weekends as needed.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Must have own truck/vehicle and tools.- Ability to repair or replace water lines, connectors, and drainpipes a plus.
- Electrical/HVAC license a plus.
The pay range for this role is:
67,000 - 67,000 USD per year (Santa Monica Office)
