Job Summary The Mobile Phlebotomist Administrative Support Representative provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of mobile phlebotomy services. This role involves coordinating schedules, managing patient records, handling inquiries, and assisting phlebotomists with logistical needs, thereby contributing to the efficient delivery of healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling Coordination: Organize and manage appointments for mobile phlebotomists, ensuring optimal routing and timing to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Patient Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, providing appointment reminders, and rescheduling when necessary.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all information is securely handled in compliance with confidentiality requirements. * Logistical Support: Assist with the coordination of supplies and equipment needed for mobile phlebotomists, ensuring timely availability and distribution.
- Data Entry: Input and update patient and appointment data into the company’s database, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle general office duties, including filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence to support the mobile phlebotomy team.
- Reporting: Compile and prepare reports related to appointment scheduling, patient feedback, and service efficiency for management review.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and enhance service delivery to patients and the mobile phlebotomy team. Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in office administration or related field is a plus
. * Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare administrative role or customer service environment is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
