- Base Compensation: starting at $35,000 - $38,000 per year (paid by the hour).

This is a fun place to work! This position is great for someone who enjoys working with numbers! DeVaughn James Injury Lawyers is looking for a Verification Specialist. Our Verification Specialist will verify non-legal aspects of our client’s medical accounting. You will be contacting medical providers, lien holders, and insurance companies, as needed, to ensure up-to-date and accurate accounting of client’s medical bills, liens, and outstanding balances, and helping attorneys and team members in verifying these numbers throughout the case to ensure accuracy at the time of the writing of the settlement demand and the closing of the case.
Excellent telephone communication, strong computer skills, attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and a friendly attitude are a must. We are also looking for people who enjoy learning new things on a daily basis.
No past legal experience necessary, just be willing to learn and bring a good attitude. If you are ambitious, hardworking and want to work in a positive environment this could be the job for you. This is a 40 hour a week, M-F. If your mom or dad still has to wake you up for school or work in the mornings, then this job is most likely not for you.
