OVERVIEW:
Devault Refrigeration, Inc., is a leading industrial and commercial refrigeration contractor located in Pennsylvania that serves the Mid-Atlantic region since 1983. Devault is seeking a dedicated and reliable leader to build and maintain industrial/commercial refrigeration systems as a Foreman.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Highschool Diploma/GED or equivalent, required
· Trade school education or apprenticeship, preferred
· Minimum of 5 years of industrial/commercial refrigeration or other industrial piping experience, required
· Rigging experience, required
· Industrial/commercial refrigeration training, preferred
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints
· Working knowledge of equipment and tools needed for the job
· Strong leadership skills and ability to manage the team in a professional manner
· Focused on safety and quality
· Comfortable working at elevation and ability to climb ladders
· Manage time effectively and efficiently
· Valid Driver’s license and insurable driving record, required
· Strong attention to detail and communication skills
· 6G Welding Certification, preferred
· OSHA 30/10 and Lift certification, preferred
· Must pass substance screenings and background screenings
· Must abide by employee manual and all safety policies
SCHEDULE HOURS:
· 40 hours per week – working times vary between 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
· On-call availability for off-hour work; emergencies, shutdowns, and/or maintenance
· Opportunity for over-time
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Serves as the lead resource on assigned projects and communicating clearly to employees and subcontractors
- Communicate with Project Manager, as needed
- Mentor and train General Laborers and Welder/Pipefitters
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction
- Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel
- Reports on job status and performance
- Develops and maintains productive relationships with peers, customers, Project Managers, and subcontractors
- Responsible to ensure proper use of PPE, tools and equipment and the application of safe behavior by all employees on the job site
- Responsible for following industry and company policies and procedures and installation standards
- Responsible for completing onsite documentation such as toolbox talks and other required forms
· Perform welding and pipefitting responsibilities
· Responsible for managing onsite inventory and procuring equipment and materials for the job site
· Attend regular industry safety meetings, safety training, including OSHA training
· Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
· Perform other duties as assigned
