Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medication, monitoring patient vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Duties

• Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings such as medical-surgical units, emergency rooms (ER), and pediatric intensive care units (PICU).
• Perform assessments, wound care, and medication administration.
• Assist with airway management and health coaching for patients.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Work in diverse clinical areas including behavioral health, laboratory settings, and Level I Trauma Centers.

Requirements

• Possess a valid LPN license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in medical-surgical or acute care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with airway management techniques and emergency room protocols.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of health coaching principles and discharge planning processes.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and prioritize patient safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $48.00 - $59.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
