Job Summary

Duties
- Edit written content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style
- Fact-check information and verify sources
- Collaborate with writers to refine content and ensure consistency in messaging
- Ensure all content aligns with the designated style guide, such as the Chicago Manual Style
- Review technical writing, journalism pieces, copywriting materials, and creative writing for accuracy and coherence
Skills
- Proficiency in copy editing and proofreading
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with writers and team members
- Familiarity with word processing software for editing purposes
- Knowledge of various writing styles including technical writing, journalism, copywriting, and creative writing
- Ability to fact-check information and verify sources accurately
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
