Duties
- Review and process medical claims for accuracy and compliance
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes to ensure proper claim submission
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with claims
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies regarding claim status
- Maintain accurate records of claims and related documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline claim processing procedures
Requirements
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, billing, and collections
- Familiarity with medical coding systems such as ICD-9 and ICD-10
- Experience working with medical records and office procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
