Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Patrol the area and conduct security checks
- Operate CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
- Respond to alarms and security incidents
- Enforce laws on the property if necessary
- Assist with emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR if needed
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to authorities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid security certificate is preferred
- Prior experience in law enforcement or military is a plus
- Knowledge of CPR, first aid, conflict management, and loss prevention techniques is beneficial
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
