Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide direct support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor patients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Document care provided and any observations related to the client’s condition or behavior.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and patient monitoring techniques is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
