Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with daily living activities and mobility assistance.
- Administer medication as directed and monitor health conditions.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being.
- Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs while respecting resident rights.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote interaction and mental stimulation.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices, including CPR certification.
- Experience in dementia care and understanding of the unique challenges it presents.
- Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities while promoting independence.
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and compassionate end-of-life support.
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of dignity in caregiving.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Capability for heavy lifting as required for client support tasks.
- Direct support experience that emphasizes empathy, patience, and respect for individual needs.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
