Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including inpatient and memory care environments. This role requires proficiency in patient assessment, pain management, and infectious disease care, along with experience in utilizing electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual healthcare needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV insertion and suture procedures.
- Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage pain effectively through appropriate interventions and patient education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients’ progress and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
- Educate patients and families on health management, including toddler care techniques when applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information in electronic health records.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, IV insertion, and suture procedures.
- Knowledge of pain management strategies and infectious disease care practices.
- Ability to work effectively in both inpatient settings and memory care facilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and training.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $66.00 - $77.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
