Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
- Execute industrial cleaning duties as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Carry out custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring all areas are well-maintained.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and address any cleaning or maintenance concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency in custodial practices and techniques, including commercial cleaning methods.
- Experience with floor care equipment and buffing machines is preferred.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
