What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Nurse Practitioner position at DevCare Solutions Pvt., Ltd.?
Searching for a family or adult-gerontology nurse practitioner licensed with at least one year of working NP experience in a primary care setting or hospital medicine to provide on-site primary care services. Schedule is weekdays only (no evenings, weekends, or holidays). Shift start/end times are somewhat flexible but based on operational need.
Duties:
- Inoculates or vaccinates against communicable diseases & prescribes medications or administers treatment of acute and chronically ill patients & performs minor surgery as training & competency allows
- Performs routine physical exams of patients to determine control or status of chronic conditions & diagnoses new conditions
- Evaluates patients for the necessity of specialty referral consultations inside or outside the institution & reviews said consult reports for the recommendations, approving or disapproving accordingly
- Orders & reviews the results of laboratory, x-ray, & other diagnostic testing as appropriate
- With the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), facilitates the completion of medical reclassification & requests for non-formulary medications as necessary
- Performs routine & emergency medical care of patients as scheduled
- Examines, diagnoses & treats patients within scope of practice, as identified by the State of Ohio Nursing Board, as applicable
- Conducts rounds on infirmary patients as deemed appropriate by the CMO
- Cooperates with CMO medical quality oversight & accept suggestions, redirection, and guidance
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $85.00 per hour
