Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional needs and dietary habits.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide health coaching to patients, helping them understand the importance of nutrition in managing their health conditions.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure dietary recommendations align with overall patient care strategies.
- Educate patients and families on dietary practices for weight loss, chronic disease management, and general health improvement.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations related to nutrition and dietary requirements.
- Support the dietary department in menu planning and food service operations.
- Stay updated on the latest research in dietetics and nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations.
Skills
- Strong background in dietetics with knowledge of nutritional science and food systems.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and health coaching methodologies.
- Experience in acute care settings as well as long-term care facilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with geriatric nutritional needs and challenges.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations related to dietary practices.
- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases effectively.

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
