Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our facility. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management, ensuring a secure environment for both staff and visitors. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Provide assistance in conflict management situations, de-escalating potential issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Assist with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
• Administer first aid or CPR as needed in emergency situations.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security operations is beneficial.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
