Roles & Responsibilities:
Leading a team of professionals (like social workers, counsellors, or therapists) who provide mental health or treatment services to individuals — often people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or those involved in the justice system.
Summary:
Supervises and supports staff, helps them grow professionally, and ensures they are doing their jobs effectively.
Creates or improves programs that help clients (patients/residents) get better care.
Works with the community to build partnerships and connect clients to more resources.
Provides expert advice and may step in to provide specialized clinical help when needed.
Keeps services organized and running smoothly, often coordinating between different teams or outside providers.
