General Labor - Sign Production

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate sign blanks from aluminum or salvaged materials.
• Apply reflective sheeting, assemble, and fabricate extruded signs.
• Perform silk screen printing, layout activities, and operate production machinery (e.g., shears, punch presses, drills).
• Read blueprints for sign production.
• Sort, stack, load, and unload materials used for sign production.
• Pack and distribute completed signs.
• Maintain safety protocols and operate machinery such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Maintain inventory of production materials and supplies.
• Clean and maintain the work area and equipment.
• Work on special sign projects (e.g., banners, decals).

Qualifications:

• Basic arithmetic knowledge (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, percentages).
• Minimum 3 months of experience or training in sheet metal work, operation of related equipment, and industrial safety practices.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Sheet metal: 1 year (Required)

• sign production: 1 year (Preferred)
