Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and psychiatric assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Perform specimen collection processing and laboratory tests as required.
- Ensure proper ventilation and inhalation techniques are utilized in patient care settings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate primary care services for patients with co-occurring conditions.
- Advocate for patients with developmental disabilities, ensuring their unique needs are met within the healthcare system.
Skills
- Proficient in basic life support techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures related to psychiatric care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care processes.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $73.00 - $92.00 per hour
