Position Title : Transportation Technician - Immediate Hiring
Location : Chattanooga, TN 37421
An advanced level position that ensures safe and efficient traffic movement and monitors roadways including detecting, confirming, updating, and responding to scheduled and unscheduled traffic incidents, congestion, and travel time imbalances.
The initial contract will be for 30-90 days but is subject to extension upon good performance.
**1 employee needed for an evening shift (I Shift)
**Wednesday at 4:30 P.M. until Midnight
**Thursday evening at 2:00 P.M. until Midnight
**Friday evening at 2:00 P.M until Midnight
**Saturday evening 2:00 P.M. until Midnight
Preferred Skills
- Traffic Monitor
- To use SOG to detect, dispatch, monitor, and document roadway incidents.
- To confer with partners (highway patrol, Service Patrols, Local Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, etc.) as well as adjacent Traffic Management Centers
Must Required
***DISPATCH OR CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE A PLUS***
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
