Mental Health Intake Specialist

Develop Mental Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Healthcare Intake Specialist to join our team. This role is Remote in Georgia and integral in providing initial assessment and treatment plans, ensuring a smooth and supportive intake process for our clients. This candidate is one who is self-motivated with the goal of gaining direct/clinical hours toward Full Licensure.

Responsibilities:

·Maintain a caseload of 3-5 clients

Contacting clients to engage them in initial conversations and EHR setup.

· Following up with clients to ensure documents are completed.

· Complete Initial Assessment and Treatment Plan.

· Matching Clinicians with Clients based on profiles and preferences.

· Tracking referrals, private pay sessions, and insurance sessions.

· Collecting copays and updating financial information.

· Assist with verifying insurance and communicating cost-sharing details.

· Updating Clinician profiles to reflect treatment modalities and preferences.

· Assisting with billing codes and navigating provider portals.

Qualifications:

· LAPC, LMSW, MSW, Counseling Intern or relevant counseling field certification.

· Experience in Mental Health services.

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.

Skills:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in electronic records and willing to learn billing systems.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

· Ability to navigate provider portals and insurance verification processes.

· Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
