What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCOUNTANT/FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER position at Development Company of America, LLC?
Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper, full cycle AR/AP; multiple bank and investment account reconciliations and analysis; reconcile all balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly reports/journal entries as needed; general ledger maintenance; bi-weekly payroll and related business and payroll tax reports; assist with annual budget and internal audit process; prepare quarterly income and expense projections and distributions; monthly & annual tax basis financial statements; preparation of tax return work papers for multiple entities and trusts, review of draft returns prepared by outside accounting firm. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of partnership and flow-through taxation and preparation of K-1s and tax basis and cash basis method of accounting. Perform accounting for Company's property improvement projects, depreciation, etc. Commercial real estate industry experience preferred (i.e., commercial rental properties/sales). Highly organized, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work in a collaborative office environment. Resume and professional references required.
