Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and baking techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of taste and presentation. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, breads, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food production meets quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Package finished products for display or sale while ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries regarding baked goods.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or recipes into the menu.
Basic Qualifications:
The Baker must be at least 18 years of age.
The Baker must hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
The Baker must pass a DHI Background Check in line with DHI policy and DHS standards (see Background Checks policy for most current guidelines).
Compensation:
The starting wage is $16.00/hr
