Overview
Devis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to support the planning and execution of a large-scale US Government ServiceNow project. The ideal candidate will have experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management, particularly within federal government IT environments. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in scheduling tools, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and a strong understanding of federal project management best practices. The job is primarily a remote position, but there is an occasional expectation to visit the client site located outside of Washington, DC in suburban MD. This position is contingent upon award.
Primary Duties
- Develop, update, and manage integrated project schedules for a large-scale ServiceNow implementation in alignment with government requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracy and feasibility.
- Track project progress, identify potential schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) and other performance metrics to assess schedule adherence and project health.
- Facilitate regular schedule reviews and reporting, ensuring visibility into milestones, dependencies, and constraints.
- Ensure project schedules comply with federal standards, contractual obligations, and agency-specific requirements.
- Assist in resource planning and forecasting to align project demands with available personnel and funding.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership and government stakeholders.
- Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to address schedule-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project schedules, including baseline schedules, updates, and change logs.
