Overview
Devis is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer to support the modernization efforts for the House Clerk’s Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating deployment processes, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability and performance. Working as an integral member of an established Integrated Program Team (IPT), the Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer will leverage expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, CI / CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) to enhance operational efficiency. This position is primarily located on Capitol Hill, with occasional off-site work as approved by the client, and is contingent upon award.
Primary Duties
- Manage applications in a Kubernetes environment using Helm.
- Develop and maintain CI / CD automation pipelines using Azure Pipelines or similar tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to diagnose issues and optimize system performance.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform for cloud environment consistency.
- Support configuration management activities including version control, deployment tracking, and change management.
- Maintain test data sets and manage permissions and access control for necessary resources.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
