Occupational Therapist

DEPS?Occupational Therapist (OT) will support each patient while utilizing evidence-based therapy to support any sensory needs. The OT will work to assess, diagnose, and treat, as well as supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed. The SLP reports to the Executive Director of DEPS for general employment.

This is a?full-time role?(we may also consider part-time candidates)?with a competitive?STARTING?salary of $80,000 with a $10,000 bonus.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct evaluations and develop written treatment plans in accordance with Occupational Therapy standards
• Provide direct treatment?as indicated in treatment plans to implement therapy goals, in individual or group settings, in clinic or home environments
• Conduct?data collection and record keeping for all services delivered according to standards and policies
• Provide clinical staff supervision and case supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Assist with staff training and in-house professional development initiatives
• Collaborate with BCBAs, SLPs, and other clinical team members to support transdisciplinary care for our clients

?This is a full-time position; In-clinic, in -person; Monday-Friday 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM.?No weekend, no travel.?

• Licensed and certified Occupational Therapist in the state of Arizona
• Experience with occupational therapy with the autism population preferred
• Experience working with children
• Competent in the implementation of evidence-based therapy techniques
• Must have reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Proficient at listening to and interpreting needs of child & family
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Enthusiasm and positive attitude towards all people; solid team player who is open to new ideas
• Ability to multi-task, independently plan and organize own activities
• Successfully pass a fingerprint clearance check, TB test, and other related hiring requirements

Work Environment ? This job operates in a medical office/childcare environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands ?
