Our Residential Habilitation/Supported Living enables adults of all ages with developmental disabilities to live in their own homes while receiving 24-hour supports and services.
About You:
The right candidate for this position is somebody that is passionate for helping others, is capable of multi-tasking, and is able to work with limited supervision. While experience is preferred, it is not required and we will provide training for anyone that has a desire to help people. We have flexible schedules and are hiring for both full and part time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance for participants during skill-building activities.
- Develop a rapport with participants and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship.
- Responsible for maintaining the health and safety of the participants while attending to their needs throughout the night.
- Ensure a smooth transition of nightly activities and incidents to the morning staff.
- Follow treatment plans for participants created by a supervisor.
- Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene, etc.
- Update participant activity logs on a daily basis.
- Become familiar with formal programs and data collection systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.
- A high-school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Proof of car insurance.
- Reliable transportation with 2 or more seats other than the driver.
- No previous criminal record/must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire.
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid upon hire.
- Ability to obtain Assistance with Medication Certification upon hire.
