Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (Program Coordinator)
Developmental Concepts, Inc., is a privately-owned Disability Agency providing years of outstanding service to all of our participants and their families. We are looking to add another professional to our team! The perfect candidate is a self-starter, with an open willingness to learn and implement the expectations of the agency and flexible to meet the needs of the participants including providing direct service when needed.
It is desired that this person will take and pass the Developmental Specialist exam with Health and Welfare upon hire.
Responsibilities :
- Develop treatment plans for adults with developmental disabilities.
- Supervise, train, and manage Direct Service Staff.
- Maintain communication and collaboration with participant's families, physicians, and officials regarding therapeutic interventions of each individual assigned to the caseload.
- Review weekly paperwork regarding assigned caseload and verification of accuracy.
- Evaluate the progress of each individual participant and implement new interventions as necessary to meet the individual's needs based on current skill level.
- Understand, implement, and follow rules set forth by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
- Monitor staff and ensure all policies and procedures are being followed as per the agency and the law.
